School bus mows down 5-year-old

MANGALURU: An LKG student was killed after coming under the wheels of her school bus at Charmadi. She was declared dead on the way to the hospital.
The incident took place on Thursday around 5 pm. According to police, Tauhida, a 5 year-old student of Karunya English Medium in Kakkinje was returning home in her school bus. Tauhida got down near her home at Charmady, which was the last stop.The driver of the bus did not notice Tauhida behind the bus and took a reverse. The bus hit her on the head and she died on the way to the hospital. Dharmasthala police registered the case.
