PERNIA QURESHI

The New Delhi native is the name behind e-commerce site Pernia’s Pop-up Shop. An accomplished Kuchipudi dancer and star of the film Jaanisaar, she recently debuted her latest collection for her own eponymous label.

RECENT BUY: “I’ve just bought a pair of Valentino gladiator flats that I plan on wearing with everything this summer.”

GO-TO WARDROBE: “When I’m dancing, I feel like I can wear anything—tiny shorts, those tight white pants. If I’m not in shape then it’s a shift dress or boyfriend jeans, usually Topshop or J Brand.”

FASHION MOTTO: “Dressing myself is a five-minute decision. Why sit over an outfit for an hour?”

STYLE ICONS: Rekha, Kalki Koechlin and Neha Dhupia

MOHINI BOPARAI GULERIA

As general manager of fashion and lifestyle at Exclusively, Mohini could easily hold the title of being one of New Delhi’s most stylish women. The architect, entrepreneur and design aficionado launched Exclusively in 2012.

PERSONAL STYLE: “I have loose clothes from Bungalow 8 in my wardrobe, but in office I am usually in a pencil skirt, shirt, and high heels. I prefer western contemporary silhouettes and I love that Indian designers are now catering to that.”

FAVOURITE DESIGNERS: “Pankaj and Nidhi, AM:PM Ankur Modi Priyanka Modi, Atsu and Rajesh Pratap Singh are my favourites.”

FASHION INSPIRATIONS: From couturier Gianfranco Ferre to her parents. “My style is a combination of my mum’s meticulous sensibility and my dad’s love of experimentation.”

SONAL BHATIA

As head of marketing at Koovs, Sonal is every bit as stylish as the brand that she works for.

COLOUR CODE: “I love monochrome, black and white. Maybe I wear too much of it but I think it’s eternally chic.”

WORKWEAR UNIFORM: Her typical look at work would involve a cropped top with culottes or, perhaps, a ’60s A-line floral skirt with a masculine tailored shirt. “I really like androgyny but I also like to look girlie. ‘Pretty tough’ as Bobbi Brown puts it!”

FAVOURITE DESIGNERS: Mary Katrantzou for prints, Roksanda Ilincic for colour blocking and 3.1 Philip Lim. “My current favourite shirt brand is Equipment, and I love Kenzo for casual wear. It’s wonderful how they have reinvented the brand and brought the sweatshirt back.”
