Christopher C. Doyle lets the reader come to the conclusion that war can never be justified

We have listened to various stories from the Mahabharata, how the technology during the time of Pandavas were second to none, how they managed to eliminate the Kauravas, and these stories have left us wondering whether all this was mere fiction to make us believe that good always prevails over evil or was there some truth hidden in Vyasa’s magnum opus.

Christopher C. Doyle ventures into the depths of this epic saga and takes out one of the most discussed over elements in Mahabharata – the weapons of mass destruction. In his debut novel Doyle lets the reader easily come to the conclusion that weapons, war, etc. are unnecessary, be it the time of the Pandavas or the modern world. Good might ultimately succeed but at what cost? The loss of life can never justified.
