Zamalek will miss the services of Mahmoud Abdel-Razek 'Shikabala' and Ayman Hefny -- two of the side’s key players -- when they travel to Nigeria to face Enyimba in the first round of the CAF Champions League group stage.

The Cairo giants are scheduled to launch their CAF Champions League group stage campaign when they face Enyimba on 19 June.

Zamalek’s coach, Mohamed Helmy, has all together excluded five regular players from his squad for the Enyimba clash for different reasons.

"Mohamed Koffi has been sidelined for disciplinary reasons, while Ayman Hefny and Ahmed Hamoudi are out with injuries," read a statement on the club's official website.

"And Shikabala is not ready for the game," the statement added.

Zamalek were drawn in Group B of the CAF Champions League group stage with Kawkab (Morocco), Etoile du Sahel (Tunisia), FUS Rabat, and Ahly Tripoli (Libya).
