Spay Neuter Project of Los Angeles Announces 2nd Annual #StayIn2SavePets Un-Event
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) June 16, 2016 -- The Spay Neuter Project of Los Angeles (better known as SNP LA) is excited to announce the 2nd Annual #StayIn2SavePets Un-Event. Last year’s first-ever Un-Event took over the internet with over 10,000 shares, raising over $50,000 for pets in need.
On June 25, 2016 SNP LA invites supporters to stay in with theirr best friend to raise funds to keep pets healthy and happy at home with their families. Supporters can participate by sharing photos of a big night in with pets on social media with the tag #StayIn2SavePets. When participants donate to SNP LA’s Un-Event, gifts go directly to help SNP LA provide affordable and accessible veterinary care for pets and families in need. With the support of donors, SNP LA has served over 150,000 dogs and cats at the three LA area based non-profit veterinary clinics and helped to cut in half the number of pets killed in city shelters. SNP LA's three permanent clinics are located in Pico Rivera, California, (9325 Slauson Avenue, Pico Rivera, CA 90660), San Pedro, California, (957 North Gaffey Street, San Pedro CA 90731) and Van Nuys, California, (14409 Vanowen Street, Van Nuys, CA 91405).
“We are working to ensure every pet owner in Los Angeles who needs veterinary services has access to safe and high quality medical care,” commented SNP LA Medical Director Dr. Elaine Lukic, DVM. “To have successfully cared for 150,000 pets since first opening in 2007, is a testament to the dedication of our staff and the continued advocacy for affordable and accessible services by the public.”
