RCF Kapurthala rolls out coaches for "Humsafar Train"

Kapurthala, June 16 (UNI) Rail Coach Factory (RCF), Kapurthala today rolled out first rake of "Humsafar" coaches in the presence of its General Manager RP Nibaiya.
Railway Minister Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu had announced the introduction of four new categories of trains while presenting the Railway Budget 2016/17. The “Humsafar” rake which focuses on India’s middle class travellers, is exclusively three tiered AC train with added passenger friendly features.
RCF will manufacture four more rakes in this financial year. The rake rolled out today has 19 AC 3-Tier Stainless Steel coaches besides Two Power Cars. Each coach has energy saver LED Bulbs
