Three people were mowed down by speeding trains in three separate incidents at Udhna and Surat railway stations on Wednesday.

Surat: Three people were mowed down by speeding trains in three separate incidents at Udhna and Surat railway stations on Wednesday.
In the first instance, Sunita Adasala (42) fell off the step of a moving train on platform no. 1 of Surat railway station.
She sustained injuries and was rushed to SMIMER hospital where she died during treatment on Wednesday evening.
She was trying to board the moving Secundarabad-Rajkot Express.
In the second accident, a 25-year-old man was mowed down between Udhna-Bhestan by speeding Firozpur Janta Express on its way to Mumbai at 1.25 pm. His identity is yet to be confirmed.
A goods train mowed down a 30-year-old man at Udhna station when he was trying to cross the railway tracks. His identity is also yet to be confirmed. This incident occurred at 10.50 am on Wednesday.
