Minister launches Himachal's First City Livelihood Centre at Solan

Solan, June 15 (UNI) Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Dhani Ram Shandil today launched Himachal's first of its kind City Livelihood Centre in Solan town. This centre will provide 20 different services on fixed charges to citizens through a Call Centre set up in the Municipal Committee Solan.
Dr. Shandil on the occasion said that this centre would help the citizens in solving their day to day problems. In the beginning electricians, plumbers, driver, beauticians etc. will be made available and more services would be added in a phased manner.
Social Justice and Empowerment Minister said that the City Livelihood Centre will provide better employment and self employment avenues to skilled unemployed youth. This centre will prove beneficial especially for elder people as they will be able to seek much needed services at their door steps, he added. Centre would also provide Wheel Chairs in the near future.
