INDIA TODAY INVESTIGATION

India Today while carrying out an extensive investigation found that Thakur Devi Ramchandra Rajdev Bauuwaji Degree College was just a temporary structure in form of four room mud house in the name of a degree college.

In the mud house, there was a principal office, college office, library and one laboratory. Surprisingly, there was no class room at this degree college which was located in the middle of a farm land.

Locals informed us that they have never seen students or teachers at this college or even classes taking place here. They said that admission for this degree college used to take place at the dubious Bishun Rai College in Hajipur.

A local resident Rajesh Kumar said, "This is a degree college but earlier it was a govt school but later it was converted into a degree college. Admissions takes place but not at this college but at Bishun Rai college. I studied here when I was a child as it was a school then. No classes takes place and all four rooms are locked all the time".

Later locals said that there was no school existing by this name in Lalganj. They though confirmed that a small degree college was present but there was no school.

Local Subhash confirmed that there was no inter-college in the area.

"There is no inter college here. There is only a degree college here", said Subhash.
