AKA's Dreamwork music video found its way online at the beginning of June and dare we say, it is full of amazing visuals and character portrayals – and now we have a behind the scenes clip giving us explanations and tidbits from the shoot.

The music video, which plays out like a short-film, tells the story of a young man that gets caught up in the city of Johannesburg and is later killed.

Shedding light on the storyline of the music video, the rapper explains: ''For the first time, we got actors to portray characters that would help tell the story about these dirty cops who have their car broken into by these disruptive young guys."

"And I just kind of delve into a short story about the group dynamics of these guys...and the situations you can find yourself in because of [the] team [that you have around you]."

The Supa Mega also opens up about the meaning and the inspiration behind Dreamwork.

"Dreamwork is a song about teamwork," he starts by saying.

"I've had a long, successful career, and the reason why I have come so far, is not only because of myself, but because I have a great team of people around me," he says, before revealing that this song was composed to narrate this very idea - of people working and achieving dream altogether.
