The Golden State Warriors haven't ruled out Andrew Bogut for Game 6 yet.
The team is expected to give a status update on the 7-footer sometime Wednesday after he reportedly joined the team for the trip to Cleveland on Tuesday night, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.
The team's GM, Bob Myers, told a local radio station earlier Tuesday that Bogut would be on the trip.
Bogut landed awkwardly in Monday's Game 5 loss and had to be carried off the court and helped to the locker room. The Warriors have said Bogut has a sprained left knee, but reportedly are holding out hope that there's no structural damage. The team's medical staff was said to still be poring over the MRI results on the flight to northern Ohio.
Warriors fans anxious for Bogut's return ought to keep their expectations in check, however. He's traveled with the team while hurt before and been relegated to a spectator role.
The Warriors head to Cleveland up 3-2 in the series and with a returning Draymond Green, fresh off his one-game suspension. In a bit of coincidence, they were in the same position last season when they opted to bench Bogut and start the 6-foot-7 Green at center -- and then clinch the title on the Cavaliers' home court.
Game 6 is Thursday night at 9 p.m. ET.
