SRINAGAR, June 15, 2016 (Xinhua) -- People carry the coffin of Tanvir Ahmad Sheikh during his funeral in Srinagar, summer capital of Indian-controlled Kashmir, on June 15, 2016. Hundreds of Kashmiri people attended the funeral of Sheikh who was killed in a crossfire with Indian policemen and paramilitary troopers on Monday, in Kud area of Udhampur district, about 190 km south of Srinagar city, according to the police. However, family of Sheikh refuted the police version and alleged that he was killed when traveling in a bus and was not affiliated with any militant outfit. (Xinhua/Javed Dar)
