Rajasthan shines in AIIMS too, 8 in top 10 from Kota institutes

After IIT, Rajasthan has scored big in AIIMS entrance exam also. Nikhil Bajiya from Jhunjhunu secured all-India second rank in the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) entrance results announced late on Tuesday.

JAIPUR: After IIT, Rajasthan has scored big in AIIMS entrance exam also. Nikhil Bajiya from Jhunjhunu secured all-India second rank in the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) entrance results announced late on Tuesday.
Third and fifth ranks were secured by Lajjaben Jayeshkumar and Mridul Sharma, both from Kota. “I want to become a neurosurgeon from AIIMS.
I am looking forward to study with the best brains of the country,“ said Bajiya.
Jayeshkumar said, "This is a second big success for me in a week's time after I secured a seat in International Biology Olympiad. This success comes as a surprise to me." She will be representing India in Olympiad to be held at Zurich.
Another lad from Rajasthan, Mridul Sharma wants to pursue his career in neuroscience. “I want to go beyond medical practice. I want to pursue research in neuroscience. This is the most complex medical field which needs to be explored,“ Sharma said. Kota coaching institutes continue to deliver outstanding results by securing eight positions in the merit list of top 10 ranks of AIIMS entrance results.
Sanjay Shah of Nadiad (Gujarat) ranked fourth, Dyuti Shah of Karnal (Haryana) sixth, Aishvary Gupta of Firozabad (Uttar Pradesh) seventh, Kushagra Pandey of Mumbai eighth, while Ekansh Goyal of Rourkela (Orissa) bagged ninth rank.
All these students had prepared from Kota-based Allen Career Institute.
