Pro wakeboarder catches football in mid backflip

GROVELAND, Fla., June 14 (UPI) -- A Florida daredevil pulled off a thrilling act of athleticism when he caught a football while doing a backflip on a wakeboard.

The video, filmed from a dock in Groveland, Fla., shows professional wakeboarder Reed Hansen throwing a football from the dock as fellow pro Dante Digangi approaches on a wakeboard.

Digangi performs a backflip and catches the ball in mid-air.

Hansen and other observers cheer as Digangi holds the ball up in victory and wakeboards off into the distance.
