Man held at station for molestation
A 25-year-old man was arrested by the RPF on Tuesday for molesting a female passenger at Naigaon station. The 35-year-old victim is a Vasai resident and was travelling.
MUMBAI: A 25-year-old man was arrested by the RPF on Tuesday for molesting a female passenger at Naigaon station. The 35-year-old victim is a Vasai resident and was travelling. “The accused, Nitin Chavan, was standing on the footboard of a second-class general compartment. He suddenly got off and stood in the victim’s path, causing her to collide into him. Chavan touched the victim inappropriately and passed an obscene remark,” a police officer said.
