MUMBAI: An anonymous caller threatened to eliminate Saeed Noori, general secretary of the Raza Academy, and later sent a text message on his cell phone threatening to wipe out his office.
Noori told TOI that he received a call at around 6.07 pm. "He abused me and threatened that within an hour our office will be wiped out. He said he will harm me too," said Noori.

The unidentified caller later sent a text message saying Raza Academy's office will be wiped out soon. Noori along with his friends and relatives reached the Pydhonie police station to lodge complaint.
The police began recording statements and sent a team to the Raza Academy office in Bhendi Bazar. A police van was, after the threat, stationed outside Noori's office. Police was in the process to register an FIR.
