<priyankakakodkar@gmail.com>MUMBAI: With the monsoon yet to fully set in, water levels in Maharashtra’s dams have dipped to just 9% of capacity. Last year at this time, the water level was at 16%.<br /><br /><br />The drought-affected region of Marathwada continues to report the lowest dam water level of 1%, down from 4% at this time last year. In Western Maharashtra, the water level in the dams is 7% compared to 19% last year.
In North Maharashtra, the level is at 9% compared to 16% last year. In Amravati division, the water level is at 10% compared to 22% at this time last year.<br /></priyankakakodkar@gmail.com>
