Guy said he worked on 'Broad City' to get dates and Ilana Glazer is having none of it

This is not the plot of a Broad City episode. This is something that happened in real life.

Ilana Glazer, aka your BFF Ilana on the show, shared during a recent comedy set that a friend of a friend went out with a guy whose big play was pretending to be a writer on Broad City. Seriously.

The whole thing was super elaborate, too, including a photo he took with Glazer and her co-star Abbi Jacobsen in 2014 and another photo he claimed to be the set of the show. And to top it all off, he criticized the writing of the show that he definitely did not write for.

There is one big flaw in his master catfishing plan, as Glazer pointed out.

"No men work on Broad City,” Glazer warns. "Don't (expletive) a dude cause you think he works on Broad City.”

OK, got it.
