Patna: People living at different places in Siwan, Gopalganj, Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga and East Champaran districts will have a chance to witness how Mecca actually looks like during Ramzan from June 15 to 24. In a first, the Western Union, a global money transfer company, has decided to use four 3D mobile realty devices at the canters which will move in different areas from 10am to 5pm and show people free of cost how Mecca looks like.
Gaurav Yadav, the country director of the company in India said, "We have selected this time of the year to connect with our customers and spread happiness as people wish for the well-being of their loved ones during Ramzan." In addition, as a CSR initiative in Bihar during Ramzan, the company has awarded Rs1100 each and a certificate to 10 girl students on June 9 and 10 for their excellent performance at schools in Gopalganj and Saran.

Ramzan is the period when maximum remittances are received. Money transfer recipients in selected locations in India will get a chance to contribute the amount they win towards the betterment of society or oneself during the 30 days of Ramzan. The receiver stands a chance to win 10 times the amount received or Rs1 lakh, whichever is higher. A lucky draw will be held every day from June 13 to announce the winners. It will continue for the next 30 days. Western Union will also launch a campaign video which will capture five good deeds.
'30 Days of Betters' is a community-building exercise that will provide rewards to individuals, so that they can perform acts of kindness aimed towards benefiting individuals or society at large. The programme has been launched simultaneously in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), Qatar, Kuwait, Indonesia and India. It will run until Eid-ul-Fitr in early July.
