I do not mind paying Tabu 10 times more than her actual fee: Anil Kapoor

Seasoned actor Anil Kapoor, who is returning to the small screen with the second season of his hit TV series 24, has denied the rumours of Tabu not doing the show due to monetary issues.

Anil Kapoor, who has shared screen space with Tabu in Viraasat, said, "I want to make this very clear that there were no monetary issues. We were unable to crack the deal with her not because of money issues but due to date issues.There was unavailability of dates from Tabu's side. I needed certain kind of time commitment which she at that moment couldn't give us. She has promised me that she is definitely going to be in the show in the next seasons. She is a dear friend of mine and I am a huge fan of hers. I do not mind paying her 10 times more than her actual fee. It would be an honour for me to work with her."
Anil Kapoor, who has worked in hit film 'Race' and its sequel, believes that seasons of TV show come with an advantage, he said, "TV has its share of advantages. People still remember the first season and Jai Singh Rathore. So I have the audience who has seen the show, as well as the new lot of people people who are hearing about it and catching it up online or on DVDs now. So, Season 2 will have an increased viewership. I don't think there is any tension."
24 season 2 will go on-air from July 17.
