Sivaganga dist admn distributes compensation to natural calamity victims

Madurai: The Sivaganga district administration distributed compensation to victims of natural calamities in the district during the recent rains. On May 29, a house collapsed on a family due to incessant rains in Sivaganga.
Thirty-year-old Nagappa had died on the spot while others suffered injuries. Nagappa's mother received 4 lakh as compensation for her son's demise and another injured person's kin received 12, 700.
