Palanpur: Armed miscreants robbed husband of Godhra family court judge and his two friends near Kansari toll plaza, 17km from Deesa town, on Saturday night.
The robbers who came in white Swift car intercepted the car in which Rajesh Shah, the husband of judge Yashodhara Pandya, and two others Bharat Desai and Bharat Jain, were travelling. Two of them got into their car and told the driver to take the vehicle on the interior roads at around 10:30pm and started asking for Rajubhai.
After robbing them of Rs 17,000 cash and two mobiles, they abandoned the trio near Neenawa village on Deesa-Dhanera Road.

Shah and others were on their way to Nakodaji, a Jain pilgrimage place in Rajasthan, in three cars.
Niraj Badgujar, superintendent of police, Banaskantha told TOI: "Police have formed three teams to nab the robbers. We have also got the CCTV footages of the car from the toll plaza and we will nab them soon."
The robbers were armed with revolvers and other lethal weapons.
"Shah was even talking to his other family friends who were ahead of them in two other cars. The robbers took away their mobiles and we have kept them under suveillance," Badgujar said.
