NRL 2016: Penrith’s Bryce Cartwright sets up Dallin Watene-Zelezniak try with brilliant pass

News Corp Australia

BRYCE Cartwright has made sure he’s not forgotten about by New South Wales coach Laurie Daley after producing a brilliant play to help seal Penrith’s stunning comeback win.

There have been calls for the talented Panther to be included in the Blues squad for game two against Queensland at Suncorp Stadium and he didn’t do his chances any harm on Sunday afternoon at Brookvale Oval.

With five minutes remaining on the clock, Cartwright, who shifted to the halves from the back row, got a cheeky flick pass away to Waqa Blake which saw the centre find a whole heap of space.

Blake shot down the right flank and attracted Manly fullback Brett Stewart, before passing to winger Dallin Watene-Zeleniak to score.

It was the final four-pointer in the Panthers’ second-half avalanche of tries.
