Man held for Sardarnagar murder

Ahmedabad: The cyber cell of city crime branch on Saturday arrested Pravin alias Bholo Dhaval, for the murder of one Pravin alias Pratap Solanki in Sardarnagar on May 6.
Cyber cell officials said Bholo has a criminal history and was earlier involved in offences such as attempt to murder. Assistant commissioner of police (cyber cell) Rajdeepsinh Zala said Bholo earlier had stabbed Pratap.Ever since he got bail he used to keep a knife with him.
"On May 6, Pratap and Bholo came face to face again. Anticipating that Pratap would attack him, Bholo took out his knife and stabbed Pratap to death. Two accused, including Bholo's father Pursottam Dhaval, were arrested by Sardarnagar police while he was on the run," added Zala.
Crime branch sources said they got a tip-off and arrested Bholo from Odhav area of the city where he had come to meet his family. "We have handed over the accused to Sardarnagar police for further investigation," added a police source.
