Jaipur: A week after a 52-year-old scrap dealer was found murdered at his godown in VKI Road No. 6 area, the police on Saturday arrested two men for the crime.
Police said that four men had entered the godown to rob the scrap dealer, but when they found that he was in possession of a country-made gun, they stabbed him to death.
There were Rs 12 lakh in one of the almirahs in the godown, but the accused couldn't find the key and had to escape without the booty.

The police have launched a search for the two absconding accused.
Those arrested on Saturday were identified as Anun Kumar and Rajkumar, both residents of Datia in Madhya Pradesh. DCP (west) Rahul Jain said that Rajkumar, who worked as a driver at a factory in Chomu, wanted to move to Dubai and work there. He needed money for that and, thus, planned the robbery.
"He used to transport scrap to the godown owned by Umesh Tiwari in VKI Road No. 6 area. To fulfil his dream of working in Dubai, Rajkumar hatched a plan to rob him and roped in three others - Arun, Amit and Dayaram. Two of the three are pani-patasi vendors, while one is a labourer," said the officer.

The officer added that on June 3, the four men entered the godown of Umesh Tiwari and threatened him at knife point, but the scrap dealer took out a gun.
It led to a scuffle between the victim and the four men. They stabbed him to death and then escaped.
"Because of the fight, they could not take away the cash lying in the godown. We have arrested Arun and Rajkumar, while a search has been launched for for Amit and Dayaram," said the officer.
