Video: Melbourne Storm’s Cameron Smith nails sideline conversion despite slipping over

YES Cam, we’re entertained alright.

Channelling Russell Crowe’s Maximus, the Storm skipper’s priceless reaction said it all.

Smith’s conversion attempt of Suliasi Vunivalu’s second try against the Roosters was already rough enough, with Smith lining up the shot just millimetres inside the right hand touchline at Allianz Stadium.

So when his foot went out from under him and he ended up firmly on his backside soon after making contact with the ball, it should have been game over.

Instead the Steeden sailed straight through the uprights and never looked like missing.

And Smith, just like the rest of us, simply couldn’t believe it.
