Rain should reach Hyderabad in 3-4 days

Meanwhile, Hyderabad had recorded a rise in temperature on June 10.

Hyderabad: The South-West monsoon has further advanced into Andhra Pradesh and had moved towards the central part of the state by Friday. The day before, the rain had hit Anantapur and South of Ongole. It had also reached Nandyal in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh.

Meanwhile, Hyderabad had recorded a rise in temperature on June 10. A maximum of 36.6 degrees was registed in the city and Ramadungam recorded 41, three degrees above the normal.

IMD-Hyderabad Director Mr. Y. K Reddy said, "The monsoon is moving north, in the western side. On June 10m rain was recorded in Nandyal of Kurnool, in some parts of Ananthpur and south of Ongole.

Going by all indications, the monsoon is expected to reach Telangana in three to four days. In Hyderabad, there has been a rise in temparature and June 10 saw 36.6 where as the normal for Hyderabad in the month of June is 35. 3.
