The people in the West can now also easily buy Italian sports brand Diadora with the opening of a Diadora branded store in Main Street, Nadi Town.

The newly-opened store is fitted to international standards and has Diadora’s range of shoes, sportswear, watches, accessories and more on display.

Brijlal & Co Limited, the Fijian distributors of DIADORA, opened the first Diadora branded store in December 2014 in MHCC, Suva.

Brijlal & Co director, Diren Kapadia, said: “We are excited to have opened Fiji’s second Diadora store in Nadi.

“It represents our commitment to continue to invest in Fiji and expand our product offering to our customers.

“Since we opened our first Diadora store in MHCC, Suva, we have received a lot of interest from customers in the West so we decided to open a store in Nadi.

“We have only been involved in sporting goods for about two years but we’ve learnt a lot in such a short time and see a lot of potential in this area.”

Having received a good market response from customers, the range of Diadora products has increased.

Plans were put in place by Brijlal to open additional stores to give the Diadora brand greater exposure in the Fijian market.

A third Diadora store will open later this year and Mr Kapadia said they hope to keep bringing new products which customers will appreciate.

Brijlal has so far invested a substantial sum into its Diadora venture and will be looking at increasing this as new Diadora stores are opened.
