More than 70 sheep were mowed down when they came under the Shatabdi Express near Shivapura railway station on Thursday afternoon.

The 200-odd flock were crossing the track when they came under the train. The sheep belonged to shepherds Krishnamurti, Nagaraju and Basavaraju.
