It is not just students who are fuming at the poor condition of the roads on Central College premises. Bangalore University authorities are irked with BMRCL as they feel the road deteriorated during construction of the Visvesvaraya Central College metro station.

Vice Chancellor B. Thimme Gowda said as the compound wall of the college had to be demolished for the station, many are trespassing into the college. “I have written two letters to the metro authorities but they have not responded so we have to use the university funds to repair the road,” he said.

Guruprasad M., a student said the poor condition of the roads was a matter of concern and hoped it would be repaired soon.
