Three held on charge of duping jobless youth

: The North Zone police arrested three persons who allegedly collected huge amounts from unemployed youth promising them jobs, in separate operations. The three collected Rs. 50 lakh from the victims.

According to the police, Prathipati Satish, a resident of Nunna, used to attend political meetings and pose for photographs with Ministers. Claiming that he was a relative of a Minister, he collected Rs. 16 lakh from job aspirants. Following a complaint, a police team led by Nunna Circle Inspector Sahera Begum arrested the accused on Wednesday.

In another case, police apprehended A. Srihari and G. Satyanarayana, who collected about Rs. 34 lakh from several persons promising them jobs in the Dr. Narla Tata Rao Thermal Power Station (NTTPS).
