A 14-year old boy from Andhra Pradesh died and five others suffered injuries when a car fell off national highway 75 in Madihalli of Channarayapatna taluk on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Vishwanath (14) of Srikakulam. He was on a tour with his parents Rama Rao, Shobha Rani and brother Rishikesh and relatives Naveen Kumar and Smitha. They were returning to Kunigal after visiting Belur and Halebidu in Hassan district when the car fell off the road after a burst tyre. The injured have been admitted to a private hospital in Bellur.
The Hirisave police have registered the case.
