The fate of 17 candidates contesting the elections to the Legislative Council from South Graduates’ Constituency will be sealed on Thursday.
Polling will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The authorities concerned have said that steps have been taken to ensure free and smooth conduct of the elections.
Meanwhile, the mustering of ballots for Mysuru Rural was held at the Mini Vidhana Soudha here under the supervision of tahsildar Naveen Joseph.
For urban areas of Mysuru, the mustering was held at Mysuru City Corporation office. Likewise, the mustering of ballots was held in all taluk headquarters of the district and also in Hassan, Mandya and Chamarajnagar districts. Counting of votes will be held on June 13 at JSS College, Ooty Road.
