Here's a run down for what each township in Canberra is getting from the 2016 ACT budget.

  • extra physician at Calvary Hospital's emergency department
  • funds for University of Canberra hospital (opens in 2018)
  • expansion of Weetangera and Hawker preschools
  • classrooms for Maribyrnong Primary School
  • $1.7 million upgrade for CIT Bruce

  • shade sails for Boundless playground
  • new footpaths and shared zone in Kingston
  • Telopea Park upgrade

  • complete widening of Horse Park Drive from Mulligan's Flat to Federal Highway
  • expansion of Ernest Cavanagh Street
  • light rail stage 1 (begins early 2019)
  • funds to help businesses be "project ready" for light rail
  • design study for Hibberson St pedestrian priority zone
  • major upgrade to Yerrabi Ponds playground
  • classrooms for Amaroo, Harrison and Neville Bonner schools
