Samiti protests bad condition of Kullu-Manali route

KULLU: Villagers today protested the deteriorating condition of an alternative route connecting Kullu with Manali along the banks of the Beas.

Villagers today protested the deteriorating condition of an alternative route connecting Kullu with Manali along the banks of the Beas.

Under the banner of Vamtat Sadak Sangharsh Samiti, they submitted a memorandum to the PWD Superintending Engineer and apprised him of the bad condition of various link roads in the left bank region.

Samiti president Mahinder Thakur said the condition of Naggar-Rumsu, Patlikul-Naggar, 15 Mile-Haripur and other link roads had worsened and the department had failed to undertake any maintenance work for a long time.
