An image with the watermark “poetra_rbr” has been making the rounds, purportedly showing the much anticipated 2016 Honda CBR250RR. The origin of the image is unknown, and its veracity cannot be determined, but this might be the clearest indication yet that Honda might be putting this CBR250R replacement model into production.

First shown last year as the Light Weight Super Sport Concept at the Tokyo motor show, Honda has been silent on whether this particular concept bike would go into production as the CBR250RR. The 2016 CBR250RR is said to be a parallel-twin, and will come with a bunch of riding aids and controls taken from its bigger engined siblings in Honda’s range.

The Honda CBR250RR’s closest rivals are the Yamaha YZF-R25, the KTM RC250 and the Kawasaki Ninja 250. The Honda CBR250R retails from RM21,728 in base form, to RM25,650 for the Repsol version with ABS, inclusive of GST. The Yamaha YZF-R25 retails for RM20,630 inclusive of GST, while the Kawasaki Ninja 250R retails for around RM22,000, excluding GST. The KTM RC250 goes for RM21,081.28, with GST.

i realised that lately honda is very aggresive. from the styling and the features of the civic to the CBR250 bike.

i think they are in the process of dominating the automotive industry.
