After training Kangana Ranaut in horse-riding for Vishal Bhardwaj's Rangoon, villain-stuntman and horse whisperer Jeetu Verma who owns a well-equipped stable that is home to 20 horses near Film City has a new student in Tamannaah Bhatia. The 26-year-old actress has been cantering under Jeetu's supervision for the sequel of S S Rajamouli's Baahubali: The Beginning, which features Prabhas and Rana Daggubati in pivotal roles.

"I play a warrior in the film and have to perform a lot of action sequences for which I needed to learn horse-riding. I have had two sessions so far and I'm enjoying it as it makes me feel closer to nature," says the actress adding that she devotes an hour and a half to practice sessions on a daily basis.

"I have another month to go after which I start shooting, in the first week of July. We will start with the climax sequence. Prabhas and Rana are doing their own prep for it," Tamannaah says, adding that her look in the sequel remains the same as in the original.
She also admits that her rebellious warrior Avantika needs to brush up her sword skills. "Lee, the stunt choreographer from the US will soon hire someone to help me train. We should hopefully start by next week," she says.

What are the challenges she's up against with the sword? "It's all about the strength because the swords may not be real but they are really heavy so the technique has to be right," she explains, adding that she's also up for rehearsals for a song in her yet-to-be-titled trilingual with Prabhu Deva, which is being directed by A L Vijay.
"We'll start as soon as we've zeroed in on the dance form," she signs off.
