In conjunction with the holy month of Ramadhan, the Liang Lumut Recreation Club (LLRC) and the Katakljau Humanitarian Relief Support Group are calling on members of the public to join the LLRC Al Musahhalat At Tabarru' (Donation Facilitator) programme, which provides relief for the poor and destitute people of Mukim Liang.

All donations should be made in the form of staple food such as rice, sugar and coffee, from June 8 to 21, a press release said.

Three locations have been made available for the drop-off points. Brunei-Muara District residents are to go to Urusetia Katakijau, at Room 6 of the Youth Centre in Bandar Seri Begawan, anytime from 9am to 5pm on June 10, to present their donations.

Belait District residents may hand in their contributions at the Liang Lumut Recreation Club, from 8am to 10.30pm on June 8-21.

Tutong District residents can send their contributions to F30 Lorong 100, Penanjong Camp Tutong on June 9, 13 and 16.

The donated items will be distributed by the LLRC and Katakljau Humanitarian Relief Support Group to 32 destitute families in Mukim Liang on June 26.
