Sindh budget for fiscal year 2016-17 to be presented on June 11
Opposition parties are of the view that they shall reject budget if any new taxes are imposed
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh’s budget for the fiscal year 2016-17 shall be presented on June 11 by provincial finance minister Murad Ali Shah, reported Dunya News on Tuesday.
Shah has already started to conduct meetings with members of various Opposition parties to take them on board in regards to the matter. He has held meetings with members of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) to convince them that the budget shall be public friendly and that no new taxes shall be implemented on the people.
Opposition parties are of the view that they shall reject the budget if any new taxes are imposed on the people.
