JAIPUR: There was no respite from the
blistering heat conditions in the state.
Phalodi remained hottest in the state where a maximum temperature of 48.5 degrees Celsius was recorded, the met reports said on Tuesday.
Jaipur residents woke up to a warmer morning as a minimum temperature of 30.0 degrees Celsius was recorded. It was followed by a scorching afternoon as a maximum temperature of 45.2 degrees Celsius was recorded.
Phalodi was followed by Churu where a maximum temperature of 48.3 degrees Celsius was recorded, Bikaner 47.6, Sriganganagar 47.5, Jaisalmer 47.0, Kota 46.8, Barmer 45.8, Jodhpur 45.1, Ajmer 44.5, Udaipur 44.0 and a maximum temperature of 43.4 degrees Celsius was recorded.
In its forecast Jaipur met office said that there is a possibility of mild showers in northern and eastern parts of the state while weather in the western and southern Rajasthan would be mainly dry.
