The Shahid Kapoor-Alia Bhatt starrer film, Udta Punjab continues to fight for it's right to release the film with no cuts. Being a strong believer of no censorship, producer/director Anurag Kashyap is going all out in making sure the film releases on time with no cuts. The Censor Board has actually asked the makers of the film to get 89 cuts done in order to obtain a clean chit. Baffled? So is everybody else. Not just the filmmakers but even Twitterati has gone berserk in anger over CB's such demands. In fact, one of the demands are to remove the word Punjab not just from the name of the film but also from the scenes in the film. Basically they want to wipe out the fact that the movie is based in Punjab. Sadly, this is something the Censor Board is seconding! No wonder Anurag Kashyap is having one lousy morning full of rage. But this ain't the first time movies have had to go under the title turmoil. The Shah Rukh Khan, Irrfan Khan and Lara Dutta starrer film had to chop off the word Barber from the title as the Barber community found it offensive.

Rambo Rajkumar to R... Rajkumar

This Shahid Kapoor-Sonakshi Sinha starrer too fell under the radar. It was originally named Rambo Rajkumar but since they didn't get the rights to use Rambo, they changed it to R... Rajkumar.

Ram Leela to Goliyon Ki Raasleela... Ram Leela

King of controversy, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film Goliyon Ki Raasleela... Ram Leela, starring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone also had the title altered from just Ram Leela. They faced flak to have hurt religious sentiments by naming the film Ram Leela which they believe had to do with Lord Rama's life.

Jaffna to Madras Cafe

This John Abraham-Nargis Fakhri starrer film fell under the eyes of people who felt the original title, Jaffna ( a place in Sri Lanka) was offensive and put the place in bad light.

Aman Ki Asha to Total Siyapaa

Since Aman Ki Asha was the name owned by one of the big media groups who had a problem with the makers using this name. Hence left with no choice, the makers changed their movie name.
