LAHORE - A 25-year-old security guard was found shot dead in Shera Kot area, police said yesterday. The body was moved to the morgue for autopsy.

Police investigators identified the victim as Tasawar, who was working as a security guard at the Niazi-bus stand in the limits of Shera Kot police. Investigators said Tasawar was lying dead in pools of blood at a rented house as they reached the crime scene.

The private security guard was living at the rented house along with his two colleagues. The police have detained two colleagues of the victim and they are being interrogated in connection with the killing. The motives behind the killing were not clear yet. The police are investigating.

ACCIDENT: A motorcyclist was killed when a truck bumped into his two-wheeler near Suggian Bridge yesterday. The victim was identified by police as Muhammad Yasin.

An eyewitness told the police that the road mishap took place because of over speeding. The driver managed to escape from the scene while the police impounded the truck. The body was handed over to the family. Further investigations were underway.
