Man abducted, thrashed

Ahmedabad: A 27-year-old youth was beaten up severely and abducted over an alleged extramarital affair. The youth has filed a complaint for assault and abduction with Ghatlodia police.
According to a complaint by Deepak Parmar, 27, a resident of Shastrinagar, Naranpura, he works as a photographer with a shop on RC Technical Road near Chanakyapuri. He was returning home from job on Friday at 10 pm near Prabhat Chowk at Nutan School when a car tried to push his bike off the road.When he stopped two men came out of the car and started beating him up.
"The duo hit him with lathis, dragged him in the car and drove off towards Vaishnodevi Circle. They kept accusing him of ruining a woman's life. They then pushed him out of the car near the circle and fled from the spot," said a Ghatlodia police official.
