Track doubling to boost amenities, beautification of Belagavi railway station

Belagavi: The track doubling between Miraj-Londa section could boost the basic amenities and beautification of Belagavi railway station.
With the doubling of track, goods shed situated on other part of the railway station will be shifted to Sambra railway station, and station will have one more entrance point at Shastri Nagar end.
If everything goes according to plan and proposal, within nine months, the goods shed will be shifted.Meanwhile, another entrance point to railway station will be opened soon.
At a recent meeting of SWR Hubballi division, headed by assistant commercial manager Satish held with dignitaries of Belagavi Chamber of Commerce and Industries (BCCI). The meeting reconsidered the establishment of good shed at Sambra.
