Minister for Transport Siddha Raghava Rao, who is also the district in-charge Minister, has said that the State government has been taking all the necessary measures for the socio-economic development of the people of the State.
Addressing a meeting held to mark the Nava Nirmana Deeksha here on Saturday, Mr. Raghava Rao asserted that all efforts were being made for the rapid growth of the State so that A.P. would occupy a top slot among the progressive States in the world by 2050. He said that within a record time, the government was able to acquire the necessary land and set the task of building a new capital city on the track by overcoming all the hurdles.
