Shivpal shots back at Shah, calls him accused of Godhara violence
LUCKNOW: Cabinet minister Shivpal Yadav shot back at BJP national president Amit Shah over his allegations that Yadav had links with Mathura violence mastermind Ram Vraksha Yadav.
Shivpal hit out at Shah saying that the BJP leader himself is accused of orchestrating riots in Godhara in Gujarat and has even jailed for it. Yadav's retort came hours after Shah, while addressing a public meeting in Lucknow, lashed out at Shivpal accusing him of shielding perpetrators of the Mathura clash in which 24 persons, including an SP and a SHO, lost their lives.
Shah went on to demand Yadav's resignation.
Shivpal also attacked BSP chief Mayawati saying that her party was no where in the picture in the coming assembly elections. Those buying BSP tickets will lose their money,'' Shivpal said.
