Hyderabad: Ms. Syeda Falak, Karate Champion was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50 lakh by Mr. KCR on the occasion of 2nd Telangana Formation Day. She has acquired many medals at national and international competitions.
On receiving the information about the cash prize, she said “I was totally surprised, as there was no proposal or GO. The CM signed the GO on the stage. A day before, I was told that the Government wanted to give me a cash award at the Telangana Formation Day Celebrations, but it might not materialize as mine was a special case”
