Gisele will appear on National Geographic’s ‘Years of Living Dangerously’

It’s no secret Gisele Bundchen feels a connection to nature: She is a UN Environmental Ambassador and appears as a sea turtle in a new wildlife campaign.

And now the supermodel is taking her environmental advocacy to television.

While husband Tom Brady was busy surprising guests at a fashion show benefiting breast cancer patients, Gisele was in her home country of Brazil, filming scenes for an episode of National Geographic’s series, “Years of Living Dangerously,” according to her Instagram post.

Her story, which is a part of the series’s second season airing this fall on Showtime, focuses on deforestation and climate change in the Amazon, the show shared on its Facebook page.
