Panel to make SOP for tigers
Nagpur: Chief wildlife warden Shree Bhagwan on Wednesday formed a seven-member panel to train and rear abandoned tiger cubs and reunite them in nature. The panel will be headed by APCCF (wildlife), Nagpur, and ACF under him will be member-secretary. The other members include associate dean of veterinary college Dr NP Dakshinkar, retired wildlife vet Dr AD Kholkute, Satpuda Foundation chief Kishor Rithe, wildlife expert Kundan Hate and DFO GK Vashisht.The committee will prepare a comprehensive protocol (SOP) and will be a permanent decision making body.
