The poles, dancers, stage, lighting and sound system for new Bulawayo club, Private Lounge have been set for the joint which opens its doors to the public tonight. The club at Cecil Hotel which also has an establishment in Harare at Holly’s hotel, conducted a test run on Wednesday evening where most invited guests were left hanging after two strippers did a flash preview for them.As the guests, mostly males, moved closer to the stage to have a much more clearer view, it was announced that the show had come to an end, meaning the few lucky socialites had to wait for the official opening tonight for more action.

Tonight however, a klieg/spotlight similar to the one at the club in Harare has been placed outside the Bulawayo club to ensure people locate the spot.

The light will hover around the spot at night.

A package for those intending to travel to Bulawayo from Harare for the launch has also been arranged at the hotel with very affordable prices to ensure people do not get homeless while in the city of Kings and Queens.

Thelma Zuva, the club’s manager said entertainment will be provided by top dancehall mix-masters , Judgement Yard as well as Bulawayo DJs Crazy Black, Liz, Mellow T and Emitty Smooth. Over 20 strippers are expected to perform.

The strippers who have been recruited from Harare and Bulawayo will be supported by popular professional strippers who will only be unveiled tonight.

“We want the launch to be one that people won’t forget so we’ve gone all out with entertainment. Basically, we’ve called on the services of popular dancers from the capital whom we’re keeping as a surprise to come and excite patrons,” Zuva said.

“The new dancers have been shuttling between Harare and Bulawayo as we wanted them to maintain the standards at Private Lounge in Harare.

They’ve been coached well and are now more than ready to dazzle patrons with their unique skills on stage and on the poles.”

Patrons will be spoilt for choice as the club is a one stop shop which has four bars, cocktail, beer garden, night club and a private lounge.

“Other than entertainment in the club, we’ll also have fireworks and a follow the light (spotlight) which I’m confident will change the game in Bulawayo as the spotlight will be the first of its kind in the city.”

Despite accommodation, a variety of food is served at all bars.

Those attending the launch will be expected to pay $5 at the doors before 10PM.
